Seems to be the order and priority of our transfer business is

1) get a top level winger to provide competition for Saka and Martinelli
2) get cover for Partey
3) get competition in for Gabriel
4) get an alternative striker in - probs in next summer
5) get an alternative for Xhaka - also likely next summer

So in the process of being binned

Cedric, Holding, Elneny, and maybe Nketiah

Yeah keep flip flopping on him. Immense physically and quirky with his ability but at times looks daft or awkward

Holding's not great, but with Tomiyasu and White both being able to play RB and CB I don't mind having him in the squad at all if he's willing to stay. Would probably be hard to find someone better who'll accept the same amount of playing time as him and he seems like a good guy.

I think we need someone better in the long run. Not this season but when we’re actually having to field strong sides twice a week in the CL.

No one actually decent will want to replace Holding. When everyone is fit he doesn't even make the bench.

Our problem isn't him it's that Tomiyasu isn't reliable enough so far, and by extent Zinchenko and Tierney too.

I didn't even look at the source.
We know Arteta and Edu well enough to be able to filter out a rumour like this quickly. That's the beauty of what they are doing. It means we might miss out on a readily available veteran, but it's a risk I'm fine with.
