So Martinez out for £20m is great business that we couldn't pass up, but decide that £30m for Ramsdale is worth the -10m loss? Ramsdale is a shitty midget goalkeeper that's never looked quality in his life.

This is mind boggling, added to the fact that we may also lose Leno for about £20m (£30m at a push) because he wants out.

well he's not a midget, around 6'2". but yes this is the result of handing over all decision making to two novices.

Me too but I totally understand how things panned out. What I'm wishing is for Leno to be much better than he has turned out.

Don't understand the Ramsdale rumors. Totally nonsensical. Leno is easily a top 4 keeper, this just seems unnecessary.

It's just unbelievable how much waste has happened at this club. 50M on Lacazette and 60M on Aubameyang within 6 months; 35M on Mustafi, 27M on Saliba and 50M on White for the same position; Pepe @ 72M being a bit-part player for 2 years; Mkhitaryan for Alexis; bringing in shitsters from direct rivals like Luiz and Willian, and so on and on. And this is across Wenger, Gazidis, Sven, Raul, Edu, Arteta...

Leno won't sign a new deal. I still don't understand why Ramsdale is the preferred replacement though.

as the selling club they evaluated martinez and determined that 20m was great business for him and as the buying club they've evaluated ramsdale and determined that for similar or more money it's great business. trust the process man.

Well not a midget but dude is my height and I'd be on the short size for a proper top class goalkeeper. But yeah, pretty shit handling of the situation.

That's exactly my issue. How we think paying 20-30m for Ramsdale is a good deal when we sold Martinez, the much better keeper for 20m (a fee we thought was a great deal).

I mean Emi had a year left on his deal and is about 5 years older. The issue isn’t the fee, it’s that he looks awful.
