Think that's way too negative a lineup for most games. Could be good against bigger teams.
my big theory is that we have struggled so much in the last decade because we've completely ceded control of the midfiled. playing 2 man midfields with weak players like ceballos allows other teams to barge through us with ease, and our lack of control in the midfield has created instability everywhere else.
playing a 3 man midfield with 2 physical beasts in kessie/partey will allow us to win the ball back higher up the pitch, press with more intensity (assuming partey ever gets fully fit again) and put more pressure on the other team.
partey's shooting needs work, but he can get into good positions. kessie isnt a defensive mid, hes capable going forward from what ive seen. i dont think it would be too negative if we used their attributes to play a high tempo, pressing style in the middle of the pitch
