Yeah, he’s got insane movement in the box. Great nose for the ball and good finishing with feet and head. Definitely a striker. On the wing, he can definitely beat men, but I think we can use him there as a wide forward, much like how Mbappe is used. I think the team will get more out of him at CF as he is has insane energy which will rub off on the whole team, whereas out wide most of that energy will be spent helping out the LB. Whilst out wide he may develop better individually, as it will highlight his dribbling skills more.

I see him as a hybrid forward who can operate out wide or through the centre and believe we should encourage that flexibility. He will never be a back to goal CF so should not be used in that way, but can use him there when opposition suits his skillsets. I agree that he is our potential successor to Auba.

However, I would consider sending him on loan next season as believe he would benefit from being a starter at a smaller team and experiencing the ups and downs that are bound to be evident in his game at that age. For the remainder of this season, he should be given the minutes afforded to Willian as he is far more suited to the football we have been playing recently.

Get CL and just stump up the money for the clause, plus 1 Euro for effect. Get Odegaard too so that he feels at home.

I think we need to focus on collecting Odegaards for now. We don’t have the right timeline for the Haaland conversation. If we were 6 months ahead in the project we could time the conversation to get him next summer.

For now we should be ensuring we have a complete first 11 that can get into top 4 and play good football. Then we can swap out players for Haaland-level players after.

He has already scored more goals than Mbappe, but yeah you're right.

I am talking more in terms of a pure goalscorer/CF. Mbappe can play anywhere. A bit like Messi vs Ronaldo all over again.

Except that Messi was equally as good a goal scorer as Ronaldo (better actually during the time they were both in Spain) in addition to being better at everything else.

Haaland has City written all over him. They’ll need to replace Aguero soon and Haaland may want to follow in his dad’s footsteps

It’s just a fight we can’t think about. It’s sad we got ourselves in this place. But there are lots of other good players we can focus on bringing in this summer and next summer to ensure we have a full and functioning squad. We need to build the best bang for buck first eleven we can. Then after that we can hunt for superstars. Let’s not make the mistake of going the other way

He's just said he wants too complete his contract with PSG = free agent in 2 more seasons?
Hopefully we could toss our hat in the ring if we regain top4/UCL AND be an attractive exciting team again.
