He was the best player on the pitch when they embarrassed Barca recently. Pirlo seems to rate him and McKennie as his best midfielders, and he's exactly right imo.

Kinda. Loads of smaller injuries, but he starts in the big games whenever he's fit.

He was so good against Barca he immediately didn't start the next 2 matches after.

I went to check it out. Overall in the next 16 matches, he was totally not even used for 7 of them. Only started the next 6 of them, out of which he was hauled off for 5 times shortly after half time, the only game completed was a dead rubber Copa Italia match. In the remaining 3 matches he was used off the bench in the dying minutes for time wasting.

He's the epitome of a fringe player there, sadly for him. Glad he's happy with the money though.

I don't get your point - that he wasn't good against Barca? Because he definitely was. Like I said, he started against Barca, against Milan, Roma, Inter, Sassuolo. Pirlo starts him in the important games whenever he's fit.

There's a lot more competition at Juventus than there is at a club like Arsenal, that much is true, but Ramsey is class. And he's proven class in Premier League who we also know works well at Arsenal. I agree that the big question is what kind of wages he'd command, but I don't think signing him is similar at all to signing Willian, who was always a fucking shit player. Those are the ones we need to stop bringing into Arsenal. Like Qwiss said, Ramsey would be our second best midfielder and one of the top 5 players at the club if he came tomorrow.

Don’t believe any other story. Especially last season, Ramsey has been a bit part player at Juve. He’s an example of how the standard fell at Arsenal. He’s good, but we can and should do better in our recruitment. I am thankful to him for everything he has given us but the future Arsenal must aim for better and fitter players.

Whenever I've seen Ramsey at Juve he's been a mixed bag, same as he's ever been. On top of that the ridiculous wages and the injury history he has - he'd be an even worse signing than Willian, who at least has looked reliable before we got him. If Arteta signs him I want his and Edus heads on corner flags.

Do we even need Edouard. Let’s say we kept Balogun and Pépé. Would we dead if Aubameyang suffered a longish injury?

Not saying I want Edouard who I thought looked a bit shit in the two EL matches I saw this season, but if Laca goes we need an extra body. An experienced one, not one that struggles to stand out at U23 level.

I just think we need to focus on improving first 11. Partner for Partey so we are good with just one of them and great with both. And maybe the Bellerin upgrade and Odegaard.
