Perhaps so, but I'd still keep him until the end of the loan and if he still wants to go then so be it.
In the mean time I'd consider Soler as a PlanB option if we were unable to secure Sabitzer - both are attacking CMs who contribute goals as well as assists from midfield.
In both scenarios the caveat is that Partey plays as the more defensive CM in general, but that does not mean he cannot go forward if the opportunity arises.
I understand the reluctance to shift out Elneny due to his defensive capabilities being 2nd only to Partey, but I'd look to give his playing tome to AMN in the same role.
As such the only players I woulldn't be wanting to get rid of permanently would be HG unless I had multiple HG options in the same position and could get some value in the market.
