that's who he is Claude. he is incredible in a counter attacking team, Nagelsmann got the best out of him. otherwise, his general play is lacking.

Werner is pretty good, but I get the unfinished comment. He has a lot of really good qualities, but he is a bit indecisive at times.

Havertz, on the other hand, has looked god awful so far.

Well we gave Luiz a new deal so this doesn't surprise me. We seems completely unwilling to clear out the shit players.

Hopefully it was just a token renewal offer at the same or lower wages.

Luiz, sokratis, mustafi, kolasinac all out next summer. Id convert them all into 1 upamecano. He's very good on the ball and could replace the role luiz plays in building play from the back

I'd hope the reasoning would be to avoid him departing for free at the end of the season, as nothing has changed in terms of finances in order to sell him = if we couldn't do so in the summer then there is nothing to suggest we would be any more successful in doing so in Jan. Likewise we still need to sell to generate revenues so we can buy.

Yeah, you would hope the idea was to protect whatever small transfer value there might be, but I suspect there wasn't a lot. The only way he would command similar wages to what he's on now would be to have a free transfer signing on fee rolled into his package.

We've tried to ship that bloke for years but no one wants him. I don't think there's any transfer value to protect. We offered him an extension because Arteta wanted to keep him. Madness.

I don't think it was to protect his value, I genuinely think Arteta likes him. This is where Edu needs to step up and support him by giving him a slap across the face.
