Hopefully, although I'm curious about the link to Torres and if that means Arteta is not onboard the Saiba train, or if it means he sees him as being a long term project that we still need to address the now whilst we develop him for the future. If so then I'd suspect that he'd not have been on Arteta's list of priority signings for last season.

I look at this positively. Saliba can work on his game and we buy another CB, so hopefully we do not need a CB afterwards for years to come.
The problem is, we need the money to spent on other areas.
