The Torreira role. I don't think Rabiot is capable of playing the Xhaka role (neither is Xhaka to be fair...).

IIRC I read that Emery had wanted to play Rabiot in that role when he joined PSG before the Brazilian player power took control.

is he any good though? the comps ive seen posted, he looks fairly underwhelming. i wont pretend to say ive seen much of him at all though, so who knows.

we definitely need 2 defenders as well as an attacker

I agree he looks underwhelming, on the other hand he does have 12 goals to his name which is very positive if that’s a feature of his game. We desperately need others who can chip in with goals.

I see we're also being linked to Lozano again - seems it may come down to who will be the least expensive option rather than who will be the best option, and I suspect our current injury issues in defence may have made the decision for us in that regard.
