When you bid for Pavon you would be excited by his dribbling ability, confidence in beating his man, particularly in tight spaces in and around the box. You like his short range passing ability. You are concerned that he doesn't score more, but believe that he shoots the ball well and that if he finds himself in promising positions more often, he should be able to increase his goal tally. You are, however, concerned about his longer range passing ability - switching play and ability to find his man with crosses. You think he's exciting enough, but not sufficiently the complete package at 22 to warrant a 40m fee, perhaps 25m would be fair for all.
