And bin Xhaka he's garbo
Still Nainggolan and Fabinho for me. I want a manly midfield. Just rebuild from the middle out
If we just got Fabinho all would be right with our midfield. Play him in a 3, in a 2, as a holding player or a little more box-to-box, next Ramsey, next to Xhaka, doesn't matter because he can do it all.
I think Fabinho is the key signing we should make this summer too. Regardless of the fee he'll be worth it. We'd have the base of our midfield sorted for the next decade. Just offer Xhaka to Monaco as part of the deal. I don't think he'll ever thrive in Premier League but he'll look much better in France where there's less pressure.
I also want Dybala. It would be a step down for him in terms of prestige, but we could outbid Juve significantly. Dybala-Fabinho would be an alright summer.
Plus potential low-hanging fruit in Mahrez
We desperately need to add a good wide forward player. Lots of opportunity to upgrade Walcott.
Mbappe, Dembele, Anderson, Coman, Costa, Bernardo Silva, James, Lucas Moura, even Mahrez

Unless he's on drugs their is no way he'd come here.
And if he was on drugs he wouldn't come here either coz we don't do drugs at Arsenal.
QED he's never coming here.
Rumours we're willing to spend 85m on Mbappe, and play him centrally. I wouldn't mind rather that then spend it on 3 average players, and would send out a statement.
Rumours from? We absolutely should do it if we can convince him.
Why would he come here though, £85m or not? He's one of the most sought after talents in the World at the moment. And we're not exactly at the pinnacle of football right now, nor do we pay top dollar to our players.
Game time in his favoured position at a club that isn't afraid to play young players and stick with them through poor form etc I guess. He's only 18, he could spend 5 years here and still spend a decade at a Madrid etc after. I actually think it would be a good move for him.
We aren't spending £85m on a player.
I reckon we'd do it. Mbappé is the player you push the boat out on.
I predict we won't break £50m on a player this summer.
Based on what?
(Considering what we paid out last summer)
Based on Gaizidis and Wenger's statements every time a player comes close to big money. Based on the way we've done business for years.
What on earth makes you think we'd suddenly spend £85m on a player?
I guess the potential to make the money back and more after 5 years.
We might just be desperate enough to do it this time considering the age and profile of the player.
The problem is that so would United, Chelsea and possibly one or two other clubs. City are probably out of the running though since they've already got Gabriel Jesus.
i think we would spend that on mbappe, for a few reasons
but as klaus said, clubs with more muscle are ahead in the queue
