I think Suits is great too, I like that for a legal show it doesn't get bogged down in the courtroom often.

I keep getting told that this season of GoT should be epic but it's been pretty slow for the first half. Not that it's not good viewing but you'd hope things get moving soon, I'd rather they didn't cram all the action into an episode or two.

I love how they wasted time on showing Stannis confessing to his wife that he had been cheating on her in the latest episode. I had no idea that he even was married. What a pointless fucking character he is. He sort of moved the plot forward at one point (but not really, since the attack he spent a whole season preparing failed utterly). Since then he's been clinging to the narrative like malignant melanoma. Now he's doing the old bitter man in a castle routine and it's dragging the third season down worse than Jon Snow.

Stannis is awful. I just assume he's going to be important again later and they don't want us to forget him.

aye, the lannisters are still good to watch, even if they're just sitting around talking. amazing how they've turned jaime from preening shitbag into broken and sympathetic. i'm most interested in where his arc is heading.

Yeah, he's brilliant. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau might just be the best actor of the lot. I was surprised when I found out that he's the same guy who was in Nightwatch. He looks pretty different nowadays.

He shows up as the antagonist in the excellent Scando crime drama Headhunters as well. Good in that.

yes i find it enjoyable. meghan markle is very nice to look at.

Definitely not pointless, becomes very important later on and certain fan theories place him as one of the central characters of the entire series. We'll have to wait for the books to finish in order to find out how important he really is though.
