Just caught the first episode of Homeland over on Channel 4. Not sure what to make of it. I know a few of you on here have seen it. Worth sticking with? How many series are there?

I downloaded all the seasons but haven't had the time to watch it.

can be a bit schmaltzy at times, but its still a superb show overall

there's only been one season so far (not sure when season 2 is coming back). its a pretty decent show, although I dont like Claire Danes. Damian Lewis is great in it, as is Mandy Patinkin. It gets better as the season goes along, much more involved

The first half of Season 6 is pretty rubbish. The second half is back on form.

Thought the opening episode of season 6 was brilliant- all the way through you feel something's going to happen. But I didn't enjoy the Kevin Finnerty diversion, at alll. The final episodes though, particularly Kennedy and Heidi and The Blue Comet, were breathtaking.

Speaking of which, I watched the final episode of season 5 of the Shield last night. Oh. My. God. Unbelievable stuff. Can't wait to see how it shakes out into season six.

Recently got Netflix, been caning the American TV series that are on there. Just started watching Dexter, Breaking Bad (series 2), Prison Break and The Office (US).

I'm in love with The Office, think it might actually be better than the original. Gervais' eye for casting good actors is pretty incredible. So many of the cast from both programmes have gone on to bigger and better things.

Thought Gareth in UK Office was brilliant, easily the funniest - what's his character like in the US version?
