Just watching season 2 of Justified and while I like it a lot, the fight Raylan had with the big Bennett lad featured the most glaringly obvious stunt double swap I've ever seen. Terrible.

About Game of Thrones: my friend who read the books said that the Arya storyline is one of the best in the series. He didn't tell me in which book it was because he (thankfully) didn't want to spoil it. I can't wait.

Started my girlfriend watching The Wire a few days ago and now she's hooked. She rarely watches telly but it's got such flipping great characters. I'd almost forgotten.

took the wife a couple episodes to fully embrace The Wire too.. after watching the whole series, it is no joke one of her faves, ever..

gotta say, Game of Thrones S2 looks fuckin brilliant.. (as was S1)

My woman gave up on the Wire after 40 minutes of the first episode. I have no intention of even trying to get her hooked on the show in at least 5 years. Then I may want to see it again... I know, I am a selfish bastard...

Raylan is the best alpha male character on tv since Bauer and Mackey. I loved how he managed to look violent while he was snapping a pic of Quarles with his cellphone in the latest episode.

you should watch deadwood if you havent already klaus. olyphant is just as good in there. in fact that whole show towers above anything ive watched in the past decade bar the wire

@Gazza Got to disagree about Deadwood. I liked it first time around, but tried to watch a couple of episodes recently and found it hopelessly camp. The Wire's in another league altogether I reckon (just my opinion of course).

Its definitely among the Wires, Mad Mens, etc Still not as good as Breaking Bad though.

That new show Luck that started last week in the states is made by David Milch who made Deadwood. Hopefully that'll be just as good. The pilot was pretty great.

Just started watching Breaking Bad, only two episodes in and years behind everyone else.
Once they'd coloured in the background and set the scene in episode one it really kicked off.
Excellent stuff 🙂
A man with a limited lifespan, a plan and not much fear.
Plenty of scope for the writers.

Myself I am entering season 4 of Sopranos. Well content with my tv life at the moment.

Watched the whole six series of the Soprano's last year.
Intense, sometimes harrowing, brilliantly funny in parts.
Some exceptional acting to create Tony and Carmella.
Some of the scenes involving Tony's mom or Paulie or Junior 😆 Brilliant.
Ralfie is possibly one of the vilest creatures ever.

Overall a pretty faultless show.
