The first couple of episodes I found a little slow, but nothing that would have stopped me watching even if I hadn't heard all the good things about it. You could see it was well made from the get-go. It really is gripping stuff now though. Breaking Bad was another that really got more intense as the series moved along - series two has been ordered!
And I couldn't agree more, Burn. The Sherlock films are decent, but the series is in another League. So, anyway, how do those that have seen the series finale think Sherlock managed to pull off the ending? (I watched the last 10 minutes again and could see roughly what happened, save for a few details that I can't quite work out).
