<spoilers> The bag of money that Stavros (Oliver Platt's character) finds in the flashback to 1987 is the same one that Steve Buscemi buries next to the sideway after removing the 80K he thought it would contain (in reality there's a million dollars inside). His plan is to return and grab the rest later after splitting the 80K with his partner, but as fate would have it he ends up in the wood chipper instead and William Macy gets shot, and the fate of the bag is left uncertain as the movie ends.

It now appears that Malvo might have some connection to that money, and that's why he's blackmailing Stavros.</spoilers>

Just rewatched the Sopranos and I think Carmela is fucking hilarious. A hypocrite, certainly, but I love her anyway. Which is a tribute to the writing but also Edie Falco's acting.

Tony is an absolute sociopath: if you felt "attached" to Tony you'd have to give Carmela a pass in all justice. Both legendary characters.

Tony and Carmela's relationship was possibly the most memorable of any on-screen relationship that I've seen.
Funny, ugly, tense, violent, loving, hating, tender, sad, deep, flawed and strong.
Outstanding acting from both actors, they lived those characters.

Totes agreement. Best double act in TV history, yep, even more so than Mulder & Scully.

Everyone in Sopranos is a hypocrite. They're all trying to be something they can't be.

I thought so too. But for the first time too I don't care about it's renewal. Been poor the last 2 years.

not really fussed over community. quality show but it felt like it had run its course by season 3.

louie and veep are my top comedies right now. louie in particular has a surreal, moody vibe that i love in dramadies. the last ep with yvonne strahovski and jerry seinfeld was superb
