It's pretty good, but I just can't work out the point of it. Why do we need a tv show of the movie?

That'd be one of the last films I'd think of making a TV show out of.

Justified season 5 has been pretty good and pretty funny (up to about the tenth episode), but the Crowes are a bit too much like the Bennetts, and Ava's jail stint feels a lot like a cut-down version of Orange is the New Black.

I just noticed '24' is coming back with a 12 hour season starting today.

I loved 24 for the first 3 seasons or so, great entertainment. Then it may as well have been a load of repeats, the concept was no longer fresh. The final season wasn't bad from memory, Jack chasing down Logan with that mask on was epic 😆 Not enthusiastic about this new one in the slightest though.

Yeah, i vividly remember the first three seasons aswell. From there on it is one big blur, couple of great characters along the way who were mostly killed off.

That scene in the finale was epic though ... never laughed so hard at anything. "That's JACK ... BAUER"

I look forward to the new one. Maybe they have freshened up a little. Also the setting is in London and they have Yvonne frickin' Strahovski on board!

I have now. I thought it was pretty good. It has a nice sorta League of Extraordinary Gentlemen vibe to it.

it was always going to boil down to raylan vs. boyd. i'll still be tuned in to see how that shakes out.

Totally it was just a bit too predictable. Plus Raylan's not really hanging together as a guy with a kid for me. Still a lot of fun though.

It doesn't follow the movie though. It's more of a new story set in the same world. I've got a very soft spot for that northern winter environments personally.

Fargo has been, for me at least, a very pleasant surprise. Loving it so far.

Jo and I are also watching Mammon, which is a Norwegian thriller. Fucked if I can tell you, 4 episodes in, what's going on though.
