Watched the second one last night, thought it was self-indulgent crap. Although the premise that it'd be hard for Sherlock to give a best man speech was reasonable, I don't think the way they write Sherlock's personality quirks has consistency or verisimilitude any more. He's whatever type of mad they want him to be at any given moment.

I completely agree.

Thats part of why I prefer Elementary. Sherlocks character is much more interesting in that. And his relationship with Watson is far more interesting and full fleshed out than it is in Sherlock without ever having to serve up episodes like the first 2 of this season of Sherlock. Plus JLMs Sherlock is a man not a superhero like Cumberbatch's.

Enjoyed the last episode of Sherlock because it had a proper baddie and some twists.
In general it has become far too smug and knowing though and lacks the intriguing murder mystery element.

Finished Game of Thrones. The wedding part was pretty crazy. I actually knew something big was gonna happen there but i still didn't see that coming.

That video below was probably one of my favorite scenes on the show. If I was a betting man i'd be backing Dinaerys to end up as Queen but thats a bit too obvious so she'll probably be killed and it'll be that fat friend of Jon Snow or someone who ends up as King

Its good by network standards and is IMO better than Sherlock overall. However it is very much a procedural, especially in the first series and the mysteries are incredibly obvious.

Watched 7 or 8 of Curb's first season but thats over a looong time and not really too worried about watching the rest. Its ok but just nothing great

brooklyn nine nine has potential to be as good as parks & recreation, but it's pretty average right now.

curb is brill, especially the early seasons, and the one about the seinfield reunion (think it's 7?). definitely worth checking out.

Brooklyn 99 is starting to get very good. Has typical sitcom problems in the first 5 or 6 episodes but I'm really enjoying it these days.

Curb is amazing. Just watch it.

The Following is some of the worst TV around. When someone tells me they love it I start to think they may have learning difficulties.

comedians in cars getting coffee is usually a good watch. the larry david, alec baldwin, and chris rock ones were great.

Thanks for the tips. Nice thing about Curb is you can pick it up whenever as theres no real story to it so i'll get round to watching the rest of series 1 and 2 eventually as i have em recorded.

Won't bother with The Following then. Have so much tv to watch, basically everything apart from Game of Thrones and Breaking Bad so not gonna waste my time with stuff that isn't highly rated.

I reckon Daenarys and Jamie are going through the morality ladder in reverse directions. She's gonna end up being tyrant queen and get slaughtered. He's gonna end up being the great knight in shining armour and get slaughtered. Jon Snow's going to be the great white hope and get slaughtered. It's probably fucking Varys on the throne eventually.

I'm guessing the whole of season 4 will be based on Daenarys preparing to launch an assult on the throne only for the whole thing to fall flat in the penultimate episode 'cause her dragon eats her or some shit like that.
