I'm surprised how sad I am about Gandolfini. He was a brilliant actor and so young still.

Very sad indeed. Sopranos is one of the best TV shows of all time for me and he was a perfect for the role of Tony. Always liked him in every other movie aswell. RIP James Gandolfini.

What's funny is that I mentioned his ballooning weight on A-M in the sopranos series. I remember you questioning me on how I could comment on that with such great acting. You were right. His acting was legendary.

Only heard about it an hour ago. Really sad news.

And it's been noted that he was very likeable by many people.

Also people talking about his early struggling theatre days.

Lots of those "common touch" stories that you know don't necessarily mean much but they still tear you up a bit. Seems to have been a top bloke.

Dunno about that, it's a bit like listening to Nirvana, or The Clash, or Zeppelin, or whoever for me.

We watched, well, last night we watched this. Love this episode.

I watched the first episode and it did look really good. But then i started on Breaking Bad and that pretty much demands full attention. Will defo pick it up again though.

Truly one of the greatest performances in the history of television.

On another note. Just finished season 4 of Justified. First couple of seasons were ok but far from great but since then the show has really taken off IMO. Timothy Olyphant doesn't get as much attention as he should. He's great.

Tim, yeah we started watching the Borgias. All of first season and a few episodes into season 2. The wife liked it, but for me it was only decent. Since then I always found some other thing I'd rather do than watching that show. Died out then and there. 🙂
No point watching stuff you don't really like.

Really like Justified! My wife doesn't so I watch that myself. Have season 4 on my hard drive and will watch it all in one go.
