What can a bunch of spear chucking turbanhrads do against Kings Landing?

King's Landing is in complete disarray. There is no Papa Tywin to come save the day this time around.

I liked the Melisandre reveal scene. Really grounded her as a character.

Finished watching it. Good episode for the most part.

The trick with Jon's resurrection will be what he's had to give upโ€”similar to what happened with Beric Dondarrion in the books perhaps?

I don't think he'll have to give up anything, since he warged into ghost.

I'm not a book nerd so I'm not fully up on this but if he warged with ghost would he be a little bit wolf-ish after? Thats something I heard this week.

Like what? He'd pant a lot and lick his balls every now and then?

Nah he'd just be a bit more...

As a relatively casual GoT viewer I don't really get the finer details of these things, but Jon never had the ability to warg so how could he warg into Ghost?

There is bound to be some bullshit involved though.

All the Stark kids are wargs. Some of them just haven't discovered the ability yet.

Either way, it's not like warging is some sort of failsafe to cheat death until things blow over. His body still died. For all intents and purposes he ceased to exist on a physical plane. He was genuinely dead and then resurrected.

All of the stark siblings can kind of unintentionally warg into their direwolves, mainly while dreaming. Bran is the only one who can control it and consciously do it though, since he's a greenseer.

Have I missed a lot while watching this show? Have they said that all Starks can warg or that Jon warged into Ghost?

Like IG said, it has mostly been alluded to on the show so far but it is definitely canon in the mythology it's based on. Arya's story will probably touch upon the subject in the next few episodes if they follow the beaten path.

The wolves lives parallel that of their owners, Sansa's was the first to be killed (as she was metaphorically) which commenced her suffering, Arya's ran away and was lost like her, Rob and his wolf were literally sewn together Jons was always fighting with him side by side Rikons has gone wild and savage just like him, and of course Bran has a special relationship with his its crucial to his warging.

Very symbolism. How contrastingly. Much literary.

This week's episode was great. Happy to see the Iron Islands back in the show, it even looks like they might incorporate the Greyjoy arc of the last couple of books, which I was convinced they'd abandoned to keep things lean.

Jesus christ how did this show suck me in ๐Ÿ˜†

Good thing I threw the first book in the trash years ago before the show started. Wouldn't be able to show my face to my homies in the hood otherwise

๐Ÿ˜† Keeping it real Jonesy.

You know it Big Gus
