I didn't mean that he wouldn't have other options, just that those seem to be his choices as his 2 preferred options.
Gotze is high profile but his career has stagnated at Bayern.
I do think those teams would be among his better offers.
As much as I would love an Armenian player at Arsenal, I really think we can do better.

Gotze has a a World Cup winning goal under his belt, I doubt there will be many doubting him when he is back playing week in week out.
At the moment he's heading down the same route as Nasri.
Götze has more ability than Nasri ever had, and I rate Nasri. Götze is having a tough time at Bayern, for sure, and I bet he will be itching to play and prove doubters wrong when leaves Bayern. I'd love for Arsenal to be the club where he does that.
The less people see of Gotze, the greater his legend becomes. If he stays at Bayern and sits out another season, he'll practically be a white Messi(ah). Don't want him here. We need top top super quality players who can put the ball in the net.

Would be unrealistic to spend big on both Xhaka, a striker and a winger, so I'd be happy with this. Can be frustrating, but can't argue with his stats, he's a highly effective player.
