He will be in the last year of his contract with Dortmund. So should not be a big price.

Also, is just me or dose it happen a lot to Dortmund ? Loosing big player on free transfers or beacuse they have 1 year left.

Xhaka, Mortata and Mkhitaryan all done this week, Wenger's not fucking around is he!

Yet again, more BS. Guardian are usually really good so I'm dissapointed in them for this.

Quite a bit, Lewan, Sahin and Kagawa in the last few years.

Why is his agent such a stumbling block? Who's this Raoila guy?

He's not, as such. He's just infamous for making clubs pay through their noses when it comes to player wages and agent fees. It's the same guy who manages Zlatan. He's the exact opposite of how Arsenal like to do business.

It is still more likely than signing a Mendes client.

Pogba is a Raiola client too and his financial interests could be better served by other clubs for a long time and yet he's still at Juventus.

You made it seem like a counterargument that Raiola is Pogba's agent. Obviously Mendes also has players not at the clubs with the most money. What matters is what happens when these players leave.

Would be stoked with this as IMO he'd be the closest we'd come to replacing Pires, and unlike most of our other AM options he is genuinely equally effective on either flank.
I'd use him as LWF and keep Sanchez on the right.

Not only is he in his last 12 months in the summer, but there is talk that BVB would be willing to sell to open a position for Gotze to return, as there is talk he will leave Bayern & had been linked to Klopp & LFC.

I like Henni Mik - lots of energy and directness about his play

I'd much, much rather we put everything into getting Götze if he indeed is on the move. He is IMO a much better player, and it makes no sense we should pursue the lesser player. If we can't beat Dortmund to sign a player, we are in much bigger trouble than I want to think we are.

Is he actually a winger? I was under the impression that he's more of a goalscoring second striker, played in the hole.

That is his best position but he's been played on the wings this season and resulted in his most productive season.

Would be a very Arsenal like signing. No thank you.

I think it's a choice for him between BVB & Klopp, & that's why Mkhitarayan may be available.

because a lot of players see dortmund as an elite shop window team. so you go there, get on the pitch, develop, perform and then attract the attention of the clubs that pay big money; wash, rinse, repeat.

theres a case for both. with flamini, arteta, and rosickyl eaving, santi aging, jack being unreliable - the versatility of mkhitaryan could be valuable
