Do you watch/follow a second team?

I grew up dedicating half my time out of school to watching sports and the other half to playing. Now it's really Arsenal.
At different stages, much of my time would go towards
Football - watching Juventus, Kaiserslautern, Rangers, Marseille as much as I could
Non-football - NBA (Lakers - particularly the Lake Show that preceded Shakobe), tennis, F1

Nowadays, it's really Arsenal, Arsenal, Arsenal, and then Champions League and Europa games involving Real, Borussia, PSG, Juve - all of which are significantly more enjoyable to watch than Wenger's footballing frankenstein.

i've lost a bit of my racing lust. i really would like a series where the only differentiators are the quality of your driver, your pit crew, and your race strategist. keep everything else equal as much as possible.
i think Formula 1 is even less likely to see a Leicester story than top flight football. it basically comes down to 1-2 teams competing for the drivers' champions every season. i'd rather shave my nut sack with a butter knife

That's very much true, and F1 has always been like that. The best driver simply won't win unless he has the best (or very close to the best) car. The last three seasons have been dire for the sport, but I think we'll see a closer and more exciting battle this year.

I have got back into watching the NBA this season after pretty much a decade out of the loop. Probably watched way too many teams and games to really get a feel for it, but now feel I'm on top of it again. Was actually a big shock after 10 years out, because the game is so different from what it was! Impossible not to fall in love with the GSW, and it really pisses me off that OKC is such a bunch of chokers. That OKC team is every bit as talented as GSW and the Spurs IMO.

As far as other sports go I follow the NFL and some college football, cycling and the tennis majors.

I absolutely love Jordan in the past. Fantastic livery and a great character at the helm of it. Miss teams like that. Nowadays it's mostly a procession and I just watch out of habit, especially because Mclaren is shit nowadays and Merc is too dominant. I have just a wee bit of hope that Ferrari/Williams can challenge for the top, Mclaren is closer to the front runners and Haas/Manor ain't too slow this season. Otherwise it's yet another write-off.

Had a real soft spot for the AC Milan side with Nesta, Stam, Cafu, Maldini, Pirlo, Kaka and Shevchenko. Such a classy team that was and I saw them whenever I could. Still remember fondly how they beat United 3-0 with consummate ease. Even though they bottled it Arsenal style in the final vs Pool...

Kaka was out of the world those days. Still feel he is too underrated when he was at his peak.

Ah, it was the Milan team earlier than that which was the shit! The team with Gullit, Rijkard, van Basten, Savicevic - and of course Maldini, Baresi, Costacurta, Massaro, Boban... Fuck me, what a team that was!

I became a casual Boston Celtics fan during the Paul Pierce years especially after the hard-fought battles with LeBron James. I'm still a big fan of Garnett, Rondo and Doc Rivers. I loved their old-school approach. Pierce and Garnett have both said that they have not spoken to Ray Allen after joining Miami Heat. In a current sports world where opposition players post pictures of each other on Instagram/swap shirts at half-time I really liked Pierce's and Garnett's attitude.
The Celtics also have a great GM in Danny Ainge who is willing to take risks, make the necessary moves, looking for trade opportunities in order to make his team successful which is something I don't see at Arsenal where everything is played extremely safe.

I was lucky enough to have seen them play.
Serie A was the best league in the world in those days.

Yup.

My ex is from Oklahoma, she got me into watching them about 4 seasons ago. Full of potential and talent but that club is going nowhere right now

They are like the Arsenal of the NBA

Don't forget Inzaghi, Seedorf, Pirlo, Gattusso, Ambrosini. I believe even old man Ronaldo made a few cameos for them at the time. One of the greatest squads ever assembled.

Ah, you're right. Only one Premiership. No Grand Final wins, but I'm a traditionalist. Winning the home and away season demonstrates the best team. Winning the Grand Final gets you the Toilet Seat.

Seedorf is up there as one of the greatest players ever, criminally underrated. Classy character too.
