I don't necessarily mean support, but is there a team whose football you follow or watch regularly other than Arsenal?

I'm sure there are some local teams that people with stadium nearby watch in real life. Or, to drown out the emotional baggage that comes with supporting us, perhaps you watch some other team to enjoy football again (like me).

Which team is it? Personally, I've started watching Dortmund more regularly this season. Their recent football has been a joy to watch.

If there's a Real Sociedad or Barcelona game on and I have nothing to do I'll usually watch their matches, maybe 5 to 10 times per season, because my brothers support them. I also keep up to date with Limerick FC and Leeds results, one of my uncles is a big fan.

Barcelona for messi. Shut up Biggus.
Watch all else as time and streams permit. No follow. Too much cricket going on.

I watch a lot of football, especially on weekends where Arsenal won but I tend to follow teams that are playing attractively rather than big teams with good players.

Been watching Dortmund a lot because of Klopp, and also Sevilla since the Reyes days.

Other than that, have a soft spot for certain teams in certain seasons when they were playing really well. Monaco 04, Fulham and Swansea few years ago, Leicester and Villarreal currently.

It's completely different from watching Arsenal though, you hope they win but you have no emotional attachment even when they lose.

Here we go, this is just an excuse for a Barcelona group wankfest.
Except you Dreamy, I know you're a great man for the Spurs.
Myself I'm supporting Leicester for the rest of the season.

Show some respect Biggus, just because dreamy has a Kane poster hanging in his room doesn't mean he likes Spurs.

no. i watch other sports (nba, college football, etc).

Our matches: nearly always. Main Sunday fixture in the Premier League: often. Non-Arsenal Champions League: sometimes replays. I don't follow other clubs.

I have almost stopped watching other sports. When I was younger I used to watch a lot of Test cricket, tennis and AFL.

I remember I used to pretend Inter were my second team back in School because I thought it was cool, I don't think I even followed their results never mind watched them play šŸ˜†

Similar to Burns, I sometimes watch games relevant to us or rivals, some CL games and probably the World Cup. That's about it. Have cut down on my football completely.

I support the Cork hurling team with the same kind of obsession with which I support Arsenal.
Unfortunately they're in an even worse state, but there were some really positive signs in the last game they played - even though we lost when our first time out 20 year old goalkeeper, in the dying seconds of the game, hit the ball directly to a charging John Power, who immediately scored the winning point for Kilkenny.
I go to all the games, it's great craic, in particular there's nothing like driving out of Cork in convoy and descending upon the town of Thurles en masse.
The banter between fans is brilliant.

For football I watch all our matches but might miss the odd cup League Cup game as they are not usually broadcast in NZ and itā€™s too much hassle to get up in the middle of the night to try and find a stream that barely works. Rarely watch any other PL or CL games as I find I just donā€™t have the time and canā€™t get interested in them enough. Always watch the FA Cup and CL finals, though donā€™t think Iā€™ve bothered with the League Cup final since we were last in it.

When it comes to Euros and the World Cup I try and watch every game.

As for other teams, I follow Wellington Phoenix in the A League because itā€™s my only opportunity to go to professional games. I have a season ticket and go to the home games and cheer etc but can never get as emotionally invested as with Arsenal. Losses donā€™t ruin my week like with Arsenal, and they usually lose most weeks anyway.

My other main sporting passion is the England cricket team which those who read the Other sports thread know, and tennis which I also play.

Western Sydney Wanderers in the A-League. I go to about half a dozen games a year and watch most of them on the telly. Their coach, Tony Popovic (ex-Crystal Palace), has transformed the team's style from defensive counter-attacking, to possession based Spanish-lite. I think that is probably quite rare for a coach to almost completely change his style. His first style worked, winning two Premierships and the Asian Champions League. Now that was quite an achievement given the money the Arabian, Chines and Japanese clubs have. A bit like Leicester winning the Champions League. Plus the atmosphere at Wanderers games is great, and the atmosphere at derby games against Sydney FC is awesome.

I really have to get hurling and Irish football, in Ireland, off my bucket list. Been a dream of mine for quite some time now, and you really sell it well, Ev!

This season has really sucked the life out of me tbh. I used to keep an eye on every CL matchday and most of other TV broadcasted kickoffs in PL, but i just havent bothered with it this year. Ive always had a soft spot for West Ham and Everton for some reason. They seem like an honest working mans clubs who i dont mind doing well from time to time.

I'm sorry dreamy.

I follow StrĆømsgodset, Messi and Champions League knockout ties. In Premier League I watch derbies.

I'll watch just about any PL game thats on if I have time to sit down and watch it. Used to watch more before they split the games between Sky and BT. I don't have BT now and sometimes it just feels like too much hassle to boot up my streming laptop and watch games that aren't ours. I don't follow any other teams, tend to watch the other English sides in the CL or anyone whos competing with us, like Leicester or Spurs up until last week šŸ™ . I like to have some sort of investment in a game so I enjoy watching games where I can cheer against Spurs, Chelsea, United, etc Sometimes I'll watch games to see how the Irish lads are doing.

Not big into any other sports, used to go Gaelic football matches both at county and inter-county level but its been a long time since I've paid more than a passing interest to that. Used to follow F1 but stopped around the time Jordan were sold.
