Yeah, Ben Arfa would be a good cheap short term solution to the wings, whilst other areas are invested in.

Wouldn't bother with Ben Arfa, too temperamental and has had his first good season at 29. Don't think he'll perform unless he's given complete trust which he wont get at a big club.

I'd take Caceres as a back up right back/defensive cover.

Ben Arfa did some absolutely magical things this year, leaving whole teams for dead. But if you guys are worried about bringing in inconsistent players, look no further than this chap. He's the king of inconsistency, particularly across a season. He was wonderful in the autumn, but not so great thereafter.

Free agent means there's very little risk though. What's the worst that could happen? We'd waste some wages? If Ben Arfa works out we have a top class winger for free next season. If not then we'll just play Ramsey on the wing which I'm pretty sure is Wenger's plan anyway.

Basically, if he could give us one or two good seasons before he switches off again it would be worth it. There are no better wide players in this league when he's on song.

As a free agent, yeah, why not. If your Wenger got us Morata plus Xhaka, Ben Arfa would be a nice bonus
