Does Morata have it in him to become prolific?

I think he's going to score and create more than someone like Lukaku in the future. I could easily see him score 25 league goals. Proper big game player too.

Big statement.

Lukaka has 16, 20 and currently 25 goals in three seasons with Everton.

I know being a big game player isn't always about goals, but because Morata is a goal scoring striker, we'll judge him on that, fair point?

Here are his stats from the 14/15 season.

Juventus vs Milan - no goals
Juventus vs Roma - no goals. Red Card
Lazio vs Juventus - no goals
Fiorentina vs Juventus - no goals
Juventus vs Inter - no goals
Napoli vs Juventus - no goals
Juventus vs Milan - 1 goal
Roma vs Juventus - 0 goals
Juventus vs Lazio - 0 goals
Juventus vs Fiorentina - no goals
Inter vs Juventus - 1 goal
Juventus vs Napoli - 0 goals.

No goals in any of the 5 Coppa Italia games.

No goals in the CL group stage

Winner vs Dortmund in 1st leg.
Scored vs Dortmund in 2nd leg.

No goals Quarter Final.

Scored vs Real in the first leg.
Scored vs Real in the 2nd leg.

Scored vs Barca in the final.

Seems to come alive in the big games of the CL.

Nah, let's judge him on how he plays instead. He literally ripped big teams to shreds last season alongside Tevez.

Yup. Savz' summary of his match against Bayern would read "no goals" when in fact he was perhaps Juve's best player.

Any reason he hasn't shone so brightly this season?

But don't we need more goals in the team?

Real Madrid should be offloading a few good players

I'd look out for James, Kovacic and maybe even Kroos!

Kovacic is another project.

James plays in Mesut's position.

Kroos is interesting. No doubt he'd be creatively a lot better than the CM's we have but I have doubts about his defensive capabilities.

i don't really have any interest in those 3 RM players.

Did he not get jail time for that, or at least a lengthy ban?

Yeah its all well and good playing well but at the end of the day if you are the main striker you need to score lots and lots of goals.

Keep up the good work, Qs! 🙂

😆

It's okay, Rex and qs. Everyone can't be as up to date on the English language as Klaus.

That's dumbing down the language, which most people who can speak properly know though.

I am eating a red apple, which is another piece of irrelevant information.

Don't really want to get into this, but it is poor use of the language.

I literally couldn't care less for this discussion.

5 days later

Thoughts on Arkadiusz Milik. 6"2 Polish striker at Ajax.

18 goals in the league.

Questionable hairline according to Klaus and Rex.

Oh that bloke?! Nah...
