Does Morata have it in him to become prolific?

I think he's going to score and create more than someone like Lukaku in the future. I could easily see him score 25 league goals. Proper big game player too.

Yep Gotze on the left. Well to be fair he can play across the three behind the striker - would be a mega addition to the squad and would mean we'd cope without Ozil if we needed to

goetze is mainly a central player. he has rarely been good on the left, i don't really want another out of position player out there again

Not right, he's been best wide

he's been average for bayern on the left every time ive seen him there (a cursory glance at bayern forums would support that), always played in the middle under klopp, and plays false 9 for lowe. none of his coaches see fit to play him there, he's fallen behind koman in the pecking order. where's the evidence he's been 'best wide'?

Not true, when he and kagawa were at Dortmund together, kagawa played central and Götze played on the right. He had a great season, too.

point taken i forgot he played on the right prior to 2012.

i shouldve been clearer in my point - where is the evidence he can play well on the left? it hasnt happened often and when it has it hasnt been good. theres a reason he is rarely picked there. i dont want any more players shoe horned on the left

Most definitely. Raw figures matter little at this stage of a player's career especially when the guy you're comparing him to has the physique of a light heavyweight boxer since he was 17. Morata is two or three levels above Lukaku as a footballer and injuries permitting he'll have a career that will reflect that.

Really would like to see us go out and refresh the attack in this squad with Xhaka, Morata, Goetze and moving Ox and Theo on to new pastures.

That is one unfortunate hairline. Do not want.

Seriously though, is he any good? Gurgen?

Came with some hype to Germany but looked pretty average at Leverkusen and Augsburg.

No he's terrible. Polish Giroud. Ajax fans have been crying out for a new striker. Don't believe for a second we'd be interested in this guy.

Dont see too much wrong with the hairline. Your regular Polish bloke.

It's an unfortunate hairline when your forehead ends near where your neck should start. 🙂

😆

He looks like a white Welbeck.

Özil saying we need reinforcements. Someone had to say it 🙂
