Ibrahimovic to United seems likely given his recent press conference. Heaped praise on Mourinho and grinned when they asked him about United

“Atletico deserves respect, but they have a style that is not my own. It is a football that will not last. The essence of this sport is elsewhere. I belong to the school of Guardiola, of Bayern Munich, of Barcelona. Football, it is also love.”

Huh, he may be right. He's better suited to a team where he doesn't have to bust his balls defending. Smart guy.

some bullshit right there

Who the fck is Raphael Guerreiro?

If he was an Arsenal target he'd have a thread here. Surely?

You wouldn't have missed a chance to create a new thread if he was a legitimate option.

He does.

Zlatan to United is gonna happen

dont know why he's going to United..  they arent even playing CL footy next year and its gonna take more than Mou and Ibra to win there...

They'll win the league with him next year. Even at 34 he's easily the best player in Premier League.

I can't believe bloody United are going to line up with Martial and Ibrahimovic next season. I would murder someone for that attack.

He wont be enough, at 34, to take that team to a title.

Maybe not alone but they'll probably sign an additional 3-4 starters this summer.

United will get top four but no chance they'll finial above City

They almost did this season despite playing the most soul-destroying football I've seen in my life. I suspect that any manager who isn't a complete fuckup will get a lot more out of them than van Gaal did, both on the pitch and in the transfer market.

I think their point gain was incredibly generous for the way they were playing.

Ibra will join Falcao and Schweinsteiger as a former world class player whom United got on the cheap and had a shit season.

He's much better than Falcao and Schweinsteiger though.

Mourinho and Ibrahimovic are two huge personalities. Will definitely boost United at least in the short run.

He is, and unlike them he's coming off of a super season, but I don't see him carrying that over to the PL.

He doesn't even need to have a similar season to give them a huge lift. Giving them an extra 20 goals over the season will still make a difference. And he's pretty sure to do that.

It's not like Premier League is a particularly hard league to dominate either. An ancient Jermain Defoe scored 15 goals for a relegation-threatened team this season.

Not sure what Ibra has to do to prove himself. That old English critique of "he can't do it on a Wednesday" has stuck with him. With the current roster of Pre,ire League strikers, he will finish at worst 3rd in the goal scoring charts. This is a superior player, one of history's most technically gifted strikers.
