I can live with that.
FA Cup 2016

So he'd be good enough to help win the league, but wouldn't help at all in the CL. Makes sense.
Yes, because we don't play teams like Barcelona and Bayern in the league.
Thanks for letting me know your thinking abilities are fit and firing though
Quincy Abeyie wrote:Come on, he isn't close to that.
His record speaks for himself. 119 career goals at 22. Imagine how much he would score playing for a top team with top class service around him. Much better than frauds like Harry Kane.
I don't understand how anyone wouldn't rate Lukaku. Look at his first goal yesterday. That's pure individual ability. Top CF play. Someone like Giroud could only dream of pulling that shit off.
Jed, it's one of the more bizarre opinions on this forum. Lukaku is quality. I would drop 50-60m in the summer and end the conversation. I would then get our trainers to help him drop 5-10 pounds to become even leaner. This guy would be a MASSIVE upgrade on Giroud
So would I. The guy is the real deal and I can't understand why that is even up for debate. Not enough step-overs?
He plays for Everton.
If he was beasting for Real Sociedad or Borussia Dortmund, maybe this Lukaku guy gets a bit more interest

Just curious, how does one become a fraud at the top level? Did he pretend to score that world class goal against us or something? He definitely fooled me...I could have sworn it was a goal...

Yeah I'm pretty sure that if he were good enough to help us win the league, he'd also be pretty handy in the CL.
Ahhh lets wear white shirts like Tottenham Harry Kane is fantastic- WTF do mods do around here???

I wonder the same. I mean, how are you still posting?!
I kid...
maybe..
I'd take Lukaku in a heart beat. He easily looks one of the very best strikers out there whom we realistically could sign.
He would be devastating for us. I would take him ahead of Higuain actually.
Lukaku club goals before age of 23 vs selected others:
Ronaldo – 194
Raul – 145
Lionel Messi – 127
Sergio Aguero – 124
Romelu Lukaku (with two months remaining) – 119
Michael Owen – 111
Cristiano Ronaldo – 97
Fernando Torres – 87
Wayne Rooney – 94
Luis Suarez – 77
David Villa – 70
Zlatan Ibrahimovic – 69
Alan Shearer – 65
Thierry Henry – 57
Lukaku goal record vs Premier League strikers since 2012/13 (games in brackets):
Sergio Aguero – 71 (107)
Romelu Lukaku – 60 (130)
Luis Suarez – 54 (66)
Olivier Giroud – 53 (126)
Christian Benteke – 49 (113)
Wayne Rooney – 48 (111)
Robin van Persie – 48 (86)
Yaya Toure – 42 (121)
Harry Kane – 41 (74)
Daniel Sturridge – 38 (61)
Wilfried Bony – 31 (81)
Diego Costa – 31 (50)
Theo Walcott – 28 (81)
So hopefully anyone wins except United.
I'd like Everton to win it. Or Watford.
Oh my god.
Payet. Payet. Payet. Fucking hell. What a freekick.
Like that Lanzini chap for West Ham. Smart player, good technique too.
Ricky1985 wrote:Payet. Payet. Payet. Fucking hell. What a freekick.
now that's a top 4 player.
i love how he seemed to know it was in the minute it went over the wall great shot from behind him
Martial makes it 1-1.
Wondered, in real time, why Martial's weak effort went in and the keeper was nowhere to be seen. Schweinsteiger fouled the keper on replays. Shouldn't have stood.
Not to worry. Both teams play another, both are rivals for top four. West Ham will go through
Yeah, be very surprised if West Ham don't progress.
An Everton-West Ham final would be good to watch.

Insane free kick.
Love him. The damage he could do for us.
So is Ozil blown out then?
Apparently there were no outfield players worth pursuing last summer.
Payet should have been send off for a dive just before that but the ref bottled it.
Why don't you go support Manu then
I can't I've already switched to Leicester.
We would have gotten Crystal Palace in the semi.
If we didn't have a dog turd as a manager. :babysad:

That was a clear penalty.
The little tap ahead then the dive it was planned well before.

Not that Utd didn't have some serious karna coming, he was already on a yellow and should have walked but stayed on to score minutes later.
Blatant penalty. Take your United tinted glasses off Biggus

Dermot Gallagher agrees. Clear penalty.
Anyway, good draw for us. Palace is very beatable at Wembley. We are surely in the final.
There is contact on Payet, minimal, but the way he falls is unnatural and for me, it's a dive. It's a Rooney-dive, he knows the contact is coming and is already planning to leave his feet and go to ground.
The refwatch article is pretty shit though. Say what you want about Gabriel's tackle, two-footed yada yada, he clearly plays the ball. It went careening out of bounds FFS
Gabriel one was a clear red card. I don't see how you can defend that. It doesn't matter if you get the ball, especially when it's 2 footed and you look out of control.
I'd need to see it again but from memory Deeney didn't exactly paint a picture of perfect tackling technique himself.
