Get the llamas out lads...
thank God, thought we were re-signing Arshavin
Houseboat heading into a tsunami this.
He is off to Africa for a month so I don't think he will move this window.
What's he doing in Africa? Safari?
Rex wrote:He is off to Africa for a month so I don't think he will move this window.
You need to stop saying this. No players from any European league will leave for Africa to play football.
Looks like it's not just Rex's grammer that's gone too shits...

I believe it was intentional as he also misspelled grammar. Maybe I just see too much good in people.
Yeah I know he's quoting Rexs name thingy
Jan Aage Fjortoft @JanAageFjortoft
As reported Arsenal willing to pay "big money" to get Aubameyang. But Dortmund say NO. Building a new team. Not desperate for money
He is pretty reliable when it comes to german footbal.
My bad.
Doesnt he pop up every window now with stuff that never happens?
He got lucky with the Özil transfer because he knew the player's family personally and since then he's been making a meal of it.

It's Aubamatime...
Yes, we can!

I'd welcome examples. In my experience, he has good sources in Germany, nowhere else. More often than writing about transfers happening, he denies stories from the media. What kind of bullshit has he written?
Just because you are both from the same pisspot country doesn't mean you have to stick up for this bullshitter, Quincy.
Haha, it's that funny Sweden vs. Norway thing, that never gets old. Now that I'm done laughing, I still welcome examples. Fjørtoft may have some idiotic opinions and is terrible in the studio, but he doesn't make things up.
Its true, when it comes to Bundesliga he has solid sources and has never bullshitted, instead he has often denied rumours which appear in the yellow rags.
Didnt he go on and on about us getting Draxler?
And Benzema. Just vaguely enough to be able to blame it not happening on other circumstances, such as "Wenger not going all in at the transfer table". Which is not what happened at all, according to most reputable sources.
People in football were laughing at the Benz to arsenal transfer. Rightly so its like us selling giroud to Southampton.
I've never thought highly of Fjørtoft's sources in Spain, so kind of irrelevant. If you guys don't think we were after Draxler, fair enough. I don't doubt at all that we were.
Wait, what? Who says we werent? We totally were after Draxler, but Schalke pulled the break on the very last minute. It was confirmed even by the player and some Schalke higher ups, iirc.
Qs seems to think it was bullshit.
Found this on twitter:
La Repubblica say @Arsenal are about to bid €25m (£18.4m) for Marcelo #Brozović, and Inter are likely to accept.
And seeing as I have nothing to do..since I'm at work...went on La repubblica to find the article.
Not much in it. Is La Repubblica reliable ?
Brozovic is on loan from Zagreb. It's one of those deals where Inter are obligated to buy him at the end of the 18-month loan period. Not sure how you work out a transfer for a player under those circumstances. Who would get the fee? Inter have a legal claim to the player, but he's technically still registered to Zagreb.
More importantly than that, is he any good? Not the first time we've been linked to him.
Shows potential at the start of this vid.

I have no clue, I don't watch Inter much. From what I've read he hasn't played much for them though and Mancini is not impressed with him. Doesn't have to mean anything, but it's not exactly a player who's in the best form of his career.
Haven't watched Inter too much either but the few games I've seen he looked pretty good and very mature, although even Flamini would look like a defensive rock in Mancini's setup with Miranda and Murillo behind him. Another player whose high on the pitch IQ does not even remotely match his off the pitch brains though, supposed to be a gambling addict and has apparently failed his driving licence more than dozen times.
This is agent driven bs, been going on for some time. Not happening.
Quincy Abeyie wrote:Qs seems to think it was bullshit.
I think what Fjortoft was saying was bullshit. Considering he said it was a done deal and fees were agreed etc when that was the opposite of the truth.
But we'll come back in a months time and see how reliable he is depending on whether Aubameyang is an Arsenal player or not. ;D
If Aubameyang isn't an Arenal player he is reliable? Hope he isn't very reliable then.
About Draxler, what Marv said.
Don't buy that. Aubayameng just signed a 5 year contract with improved wages. It would be beneath even the dirtiest agent to immediately drive a transfer request. I imagine it's either Arsenal or press driven.
GaelForce wrote:More importantly than that, is he any good? Not the first time we've been linked to him.
He's been one of the recent bright spots for Inter lately (along with Murillo). He's a box to box player, does everything well, has a surprising long shot (loves that far post). I'm not sure why we are interested in him, however. His game is somewhat similar to Ramsey and he was never asked to do too much defending for Inter. That was Medel and Melo's job. He's in great form recently, but I'm not really sure about his true potential (he wasn't good during his first season and tends to be inconsistent). I think Mancini favors defensive solidarity too much with Medel/Melo and tries to jam in Jovetic and Icardi together using the 4-2-3-1, which sometimes leaves Brozo on the bench.
Jones is right about him being stupid off the pitch. He did a Vidal and got pulled over for drunk driving last month.
Melo. Can't believe I was disappointed that time we were in for him and he chose Juventus over us.
Apparently he missed yesterday's training because of personal reasons.
Melo, Aubameyang or Brozovic? I feel a clarification is needed.
It's Aubameyang.
