Specialist in failure.
I wonder what the odds were in the summer on Mourinho getting sacked.
shame, I really would have been interested in seeing him turn it around. He's got his excuse now.
Plus I reckon the players will go on a run now just to spite him.
Shocked, even with how badly he had done I still couldn't imagine him getting the sack. I'm slightly disappointed that he didn't get the chance to carry on and drag his name further through the mud, at the same time, I am happy he leaves a complete failure and never made some sort of miraculous recovery (however unlikely that was, I still feared it was all too good to be true).
Should be the last of him we see in English football, although I don't think it's completely out of the question that he ends up at United at some point. Maybe even relatively soon.
Where can Mourinho find his next job? No real obvious options for him and he's burned a lot of bridges.
That should be the end of Mourinho in the top clubs.
He'll probably get the PSG job at some point. I just can't see Blanc last at that club. He's not an elite manager.
Good riddance.
He's got a Β£40m pay out.
That's absurd.
Lucky cunt
Hilarious.
Damn, was hoping he'd stay on for the season to keep us amused
The sacked one.
Hiddink to replace him for the rest of the season.

Surely that's just speculation based on what it would cost to buy out his contract? Can't believe they wouldn't have some termination clauses in there.
From the Grauniad:
We are now accepting suggestions for the perfect word to describe a scenario in which Mourinho is sacked while the top three clubs in the Premier League are managed by Claudio Ranieri, Arsene Wenger and Manuel Pellegrini.
It makes me feel a little better about their title win last year, as it makes their fall from grace all the more spectacular.
Shame no fans got to chant 'Sacked in the morning' ahead of this.
Just paid up until the end of the season, apparently.
This is a great, happy, day but also a very sad one. He was doing so well!
