Specialist in failure.
I wonder what the odds were in the summer on Mourinho getting sacked.
shame, I really would have been interested in seeing him turn it around. He's got his excuse now.
Plus I reckon the players will go on a run now just to spite him.
Shocked, even with how badly he had done I still couldn't imagine him getting the sack. I'm slightly disappointed that he didn't get the chance to carry on and drag his name further through the mud, at the same time, I am happy he leaves a complete failure and never made some sort of miraculous recovery (however unlikely that was, I still feared it was all too good to be true).
Should be the last of him we see in English football, although I don't think it's completely out of the question that he ends up at United at some point. Maybe even relatively soon.
Where can Mourinho find his next job? No real obvious options for him and he's burned a lot of bridges.
That should be the end of Mourinho in the top clubs.
He'll probably get the PSG job at some point. I just can't see Blanc last at that club. He's not an elite manager.
Good riddance.
He's got a £40m pay out.
That's absurd.
Lucky cunt
Hilarious.
Damn, was hoping he'd stay on for the season to keep us amused
The sacked one.
Hiddink to replace him for the rest of the season.

Surely that's just speculation based on what it would cost to buy out his contract? Can't believe they wouldn't have some termination clauses in there.
From the Grauniad:
We are now accepting suggestions for the perfect word to describe a scenario in which Mourinho is sacked while the top three clubs in the Premier League are managed by Claudio Ranieri, Arsene Wenger and Manuel Pellegrini.
It makes me feel a little better about their title win last year, as it makes their fall from grace all the more spectacular.
Shame no fans got to chant 'Sacked in the morning' ahead of this.
Just paid up until the end of the season, apparently.
This is a great, happy, day but also a very sad one. He was doing so well!
Yeah:
"He won't be paid the £40m compensation speculated. My understanding is he has been paid until the end of this season, what was left of the annual salary of £12m he receives.
Probably cruised past a clause in there about dropping below fifteenth place in the league. "Oh, si, que nunca vai acontecer"
Damn. I wanted him to lead them to relegation. I also much enjoyed his excuses and throwing his players under the bus. Ah, well! Think I'll get over it...
He had to go. Absolutely seen off by the Premier League.
Wanted to see him botch the transfer window first, might have even had a chance to poach one or two disgruntled players from there #SaveEden

PSG now are a carbon copy of 2008 Inter, running away with the title every season, not getting very far in Europe, even Zlatan is tearing the league up for them too. Can definitely see them being his next job.
I don't think they'll necessarily be all that active in the transfer window Jones … with Hiddink in they'll steady the ship and start producing results, then it's entirely likely it'll be another new manager and a warchest in the summer.
This is a sad day.
The Special One indeed.
Shame about Hiddink, he's a good manager and will get them playing again.

I think so too, I meant they would've been active in the window with Mourinho at the helm. Him not buying and selling loads would've been a concession that it's not the players that are wrong but his own methods which never would have happened.
France is the only big league left where Moron isn't hated yet. I just hope no big club wants this virus! I'd love it if the only options he has in the next decade are mid table teams.
Why is Mourinho hated in Germany?
This sacking cements Jose Mourinho's legacy as the most overrated manager of all time.
Gutted
Wonderful!
Woulda been nicer to see him relegated, but I guess you can't ask for everything.
I'm not often happy to see someone fall, but he's definitely "a special one". Disgusting person.
All these United fans practically begging for him to take over there. Embarrasing.
Sacked by the a club for the second time. Some achievement.

Why wouldn't he be?
Most in Germany don't really hate him but make snide bitchy comments because they know they're not getting him. If he ever managed Bayern they would lap his shit up hard though, no question about it.

They would hate his brand of football, wouldn't they?
