I'm not very optimistic, mainly because if there are top tier players who are willing to come to England on the market I think the competition for them will be fierce, which usually means we lose.

I think the most likely scenario is a surprise loan or signing of a surplus veteran midfielder or forward from another Champions League club.

Wenger will bank on Wilshere and welbeck coming back (and staying fit). Coq should be back in January at some point too.
