We know who we want and wish for but what do ya predict old wengs will do?

I recon we'll sign one player and that player will be Jorginho

No one will be signed. Wilshere will be like a new signing... No top quality... Difficult to deal in Jan window...etc

Haters gonna hate.

1 player of slightly above average quality, i'm guessing a midfielder

We'll sign two players - one who will have a marginal impact and another who will have no impact whatsoever but will protect Wenger/the Board from us complaining about no signings (see Park Chu-young)

Wenger will look half heartedly, but will not be prepared to pay what potentially selling clubs want for their star players. By mid January Wenger will start to think that Coquelin is soon back, and then just don't bother at all. May sign a younger Flamini.

Might sign some sort of Benayoun level loanee but no proper signings.

Hayden back from loan.

With Rabiot openly speaking about wanting to go on loan, and considering our needs, I think it should be a no brainer for Wenger to make something happen there. Loan, loan with an option to buy, straight purchase - who cares.

Not that I wouldn't have him at Arsenal (not just on loan though) but I'm not sure what Rabiot is complaining about to be honest. For a kid of his age he gets a lot of playing time and the midfielders he has in front of him are all better at this point. Motta is 33 so you'd expect Rabiot to take over gradually over the next 12-18 months anyway, plus he's the first choice replacement in case any of the latter, Matuidi or Verratti are injured. Might be just his mother again who's telling him to kick up a fuss.

Or, he just genuinely wants to play more?

Can't see us not signing a player. Preferably a midfielder so we can B.A.R.F. Possibly a loan signing aswell for the front line.

Won't bring anyone in and even if we do, won't be anywhere near early enough for the tough month that we have (Liverpool away, Stoke away and Chelsea at home)

A Dula special. 🙂

Ahh yeah I remember now. I thought it was a formation thing, I had something - Alexis - Ramsey - Feooo. And I was wondering where Ozil fit in.

He's starting virtually every game at the moment.

Reading his statement I don't think there's anything in it anyway:

Rabiot said, “I’ve asked the president for a loan move in January if my time on the field is insufficient. It’s something that he can’t refuse me – I know he likes me very much.

“When you train all week, you want to be on the field. Sometimes it’s not possible and it’s frustrating.

“Paris is my city. It’s great to play here. If I could impose myself here, it would be brilliant. I would be ready to play my whole career at PSG if I was a starter. I would see things differently, that’s for sure.”

He signed a new contract not too long ago knowing who's in front of him in the team, seems like some ill advised attempt to pressure Blanc into playing him more often. Not sure I'd want someone here who takes to the media so often, especially one with a parent as his agent.
