poor guy even has people posting about him in the oxlade thread, he seems doomed to be overlooked. he's been our best wide player this season by a mile. goes to show how badly we've needed a top wide player that has a bit of everything. campbell offers link-up play, technique, passing. he just lacks real punch, power, and stamina.

Play him and Welbeck out wide. Reckon we'll get the ball forward much better. Alexis should be far away from our build up play and closer to goal where he can be very dangerous.

We were still attacking and creating chances after Campbell went off, it was when Sanchez went off that our chance to win the game went with him.

You might want to watch the game again Ricky. After Campbell went off we even struggled to have any sort of decent momentum. I just saw the replay on TV and it's pathetic. Welbeck was pretty shit when he came on as well.

Not really. We completely lost control after Campbell went off as we had no one showing for a pass from the midfielders any more. The drop came as soon as he went off. The booing probably added to that too but Wenger should have known that would happen. He's completely removed himself from reality and the feelings of frustration within the supporters.

WElbeck was the same as he was in the other games. Only difference was that his header in this one went wide. TBF he still needs another couple of games to reach 100% and he is scoring goals.

That was shot was when Campbell was on and we were attacking and pressuring them immensely, chance after chance. Campbell was the one who jumped out of the way for that shot. The freekick happened after Campbell was off but that was our only chance in 30 minutes. It was pathetic, we didn't even test Fabianski at all. We just completely lost it.

Na, just watched 20 minutes of that shit to be sure and I stand by what I said. Sanchez went off when we went 2-1 down and we were completely done after that. Campbell went off 10 minutes before they scored and we were pushing hard for those 10 minutes, in our usual kamikaze fashion I might add, to find a winner. Energy completely went from our game when Sanchez went off/they scored.

Also, in no way an excuse for our performance, but the two decisions that were made for their goals were absolutely fucking scandalous. A clear a foul as possible on Özil for the first - the referee cannot miss that, it's impossible. The guy had his hands around Ozil's neck ffs and they're fighting for the ball so the referee is looking straight at it. And Ashley Williams was a clear yard offside for their second - I just saw it again and the linesman is right in line on the same side as the freekick is taken - he can't fucking miss that! No way, no how! Fucking bullshit.

Not that much different in the levels considering the team United had out and the results in the 2 games.

They had Herrera, Schneidelin and Mata in midfield. A World Cup finlaist at left back, Daley Blind, their regular centrback...They were missing a few and Varela and Rashford are inexperienced but their weak line up was more than a bit exaggerated when you atacually look at it. Experience was present in the defensive positions.

Just had to say this. I find it funny how Wenger said that Cech is 100% fit but he wanted to repay Ospina for the good games he had until now...ok. So let's get past the fact that there should be NO room for sentiments in proffesional footbal(and even more so when you need to win every game left to have a small chance at the league), you should just play the best guy you have, harsh as it is on Ospina cuz I really like the guy...Cech is better-you play cup games and when he is not fit, if you don't like it...you should go.

So on one hand Wenger thinks he should repay players for how they play(good or bad rigtht ? )... and then like 1 hour before he said that, when he named the team, who gets dropped out of the squad for Ramsey ? Theo who is in shit form ? nah...like always, no matter how well he plays...Joel is the one that will always get dropped.

All the best to Joel, one of our best and most hardworking players this season. Hope he finds a club and manager that will appreciate him in the summer. He deserves it.
