Idiots running that club, looked like he was starting to look more like a proper team. If you look at their fixtures in the last month or so there have been some bad results but a lot of really tricky games as well.

Don Pacifico depends who the new manager is. If it’s Cesc is an issue due to the emotional ties esp with a second leg at Emirates, just adds more stress.

Although there is no guarantee of a new manager bounce - look at Forest under Ange, West Ham under Nuno and Wolves under Edward’s this season as prime examples.

Qwiss Read a while back that Eghbali had armwrestled control from Boehlly in a Clearlake power struggle behind the scenes. My guess is the current league position doesn't match whatever parameters were being shouted about back then, and this is Eghbali telling the world Maresca is to blame ... because the other option would be him and a very dodgy-seeming club structure.

JazzG Sounds a lot like my theory, but he lost me completely with "Maresca is a once in a generation coach". Could've just said "Maresca is doing a good job and will be hard to improve on" ... 😆
