Apparently Mourinho told Abramovich he could sort the team out if he's allowed to make the transfers he needs in the January window to "weed out the bad apples". Marca and other papers claim he's interested in Higuain and Chicharito and allegedly even Costa, Hazard and Fabregas might be sold.

If they seriously wanted to sell him and we offered 'silly' money, i.e. 60m+ then we might have a chance. I don't think even Mourinho is that stupid to want to get rid though.

Hazard is his best player. Would be nuts to sell him. But this is the same guy who sold his team's then best player, Mata, because he did not like his work ethic. So anything is possible.

i could see hazard going to PSG or madrid. there is a more ready made position for him at PSG since lavezzi is on his last legs.

Marv, he sold to United. Mourinho has a soft spot for Wenger. He quotes him when he's having a go at referees. He sold him the best goalie in the league. Hazard is practically on his way.

He sold loads of other players who were good enough to play a big role for his team now like De Bruyne, Lukaku or Salah. He'll never sell to Wenger though as you say.

Mata was Chelsea's best player when they were rubbish, it's like saying Firminho is world class for putting great numbers for a crap side such as Hoffenheim. Mata is an average player, and Mourinho was right to sell him.

Mata was one of the league's best players before Mourinho came, bit ineffective in midfield but an end product machine. He turned to garbage as soon as the venomous one made his presence felt.

Or it's like saying van Persie was our best player in 2012. Besides, it doesn't matter how good mata was in respect to his teammates - what counts is what he did to the opposition.

Chili, this post is an example of what I meant by condescending. There really is no need for that to get your message across. If anything, antagonizing other posters makes it less likely that you will get proper responses to your opinions and ideas.

All I'm saying is that it is everyone's responsibility to keep the forum at its best. 🙂

Haha, apart from him doing everything he could to prevent Cech from coming (and openly admitting it), yeah i could totally see him selling us even better players 😆
