I think all Mourinhos chickens have come home to roost. Usually he gets out of a club before shit hits the fan but this time he's left with his own mess. He got rid of so many talented players and people defended him but now the Chelsea core of Terry, Lampard, Cech, Cole, Ivanovic, etc has either left or is over the hill. There is no new unit like that within the team, just a load of mercenaries. They've gone from a team of horrible cunts who'd stab you for the club to a bunch of horrible cunts who don't really give a shit.

I read that Mourinho's father is very ill on top of everything that has happened this season. One wonders how long he'll keep going before he voluntarily steps down. There has to be a point where all this mental and physical stress just isn't worth it anymore, no matter how much money he'll forfeit by handing in his resignation.

I don't think he'll step down, too proud. If they keep going this way it'll be a watershed in his career. Bearing the consequences of failure might actually lead to him maturing and becoming more of a long-term proposition for his next employer.
