Don't think Klaus watches Bundesliga, he's a Serie A expert. The more I watch Dortmund, the more I don't want Tuchel here. His Dortmund team have this particular knack of collapsing at key moments, and is extremely fragile defensively. It's not only this season with his young team, last season he had the same flaws as well so its definitely not a one-off. Often turns up for big games only to lose to small teams.

Don't really see much in Luis Enrique. Feel like that would be a disaster.

Don't feel Enrique at all. He has flopped at Roma and Celta Virgo with lesser team and hasn't looked out of the world at Barca despite that first season trophy sweep. Sampaoli/Jardim would be ideal for us.

The have scored 75 in 25 & are +52 GD = insane, particularly as Falcao is top scorer with 16.

With not being on the possession and shooting lists I'd guess that they're creating above average numbers of high quality goal scoring opportunities AND converting them at above average rates.

Agree completely, don't want Tuchel. He's someone that Spurs or Liverpool would hire and then fire after 2 seasons.

Ancelotti would be a safe choice, and would show those brainwashed by Wenger that there is a whole world of possibilities without him. He's experienced and does well everywhere he goes. Would also reassure the players that the club has ambition.

Simeone would definitely be possible, but this board doesn't have the balls to go after someone like him.

Pep won't come here, he seems pretty disillusioned. Wouldn't surprise me if he took another sabbatical.

We should have gotten Conte.

We have missed out on a whole bunch of managers by sticking with that fraud . Pep, Conte, Klopp, Emery , Sampaoli to name a few

Simeone wants to be the next manager at Inter when he leaves Atletico.
Sampaoli & Jardim are being talked of as options to replace Enrique.
I recall a number on A-M didn't think Emery was good enough and were berating his efforts at PSG thus far,
similarly others were saying much the same re Ancelotti at Bayern.

I'd even take Capello despite him being older than AW,
as I'd expect him to be better able to take the team through the transition of having to restructure after AW,
and he 'knows' the PL from his time as England manager.

Yeah, I haven't seen much of either Bundesliga or La Liga lately. My satellite provider stopped carrying the former and I have less time in general for football. I didn't even know Dortmund were off the rails again. Without knowing the ins and outs of the situation I wouldn't hold it against Tuchel too much though. Dortmund are a boom-bust club. It's just the way they are structured.

I used to fear we will take the wrong option after Wenger leaves.

But after yesterday, I would take any random abc over Wenger.

There are plenty worse options than Wenger. I'd be worried if we got in someone like Eddie Howe.

We need a big name who will command respect, is tactically flexible and driven to win.

You don't need a name to command respect, you just need to command respect. Wenger didn't have a name when he came here and he turned the club around immediately. I don't mind taking a gamble on someone looking to step up, it needs to be well researched and thought out though.
