I think we need to try something completely different to Wenger, it may take a while or even fail, but our current "style" or "identity" isn't successful and doesn't work anyway.

Attacking football does work. Klopp has the best record against the top 6. Any manager will bring his identity and put his stamp on it. But it doesn't have to be the polar opposite to our identity to work.

Yeah, attacking football doesn't have to mean eye catching football, it's more about intent. United under Fergusson played a lot of attacking football, they just didn't have a very pleasing style.

Which in itself is just a matter of opinion.

In general scoring lots of goals is eye catching footy.

Absolutely. I just think people are worried we will appoint someone that Wenger and board feel will stick very close to his style.

That's because he's recently made the switch, no? On average it'd look 3-5-2 as that's how they started the season, but do they really have the personnel for it anymore?

Yeah he has changed to 4231 since losing to Fiorentina.

He's tactically adept though, he changes formation according to the opponents and his players.

2) Simeone
3) Jardim
4) Tuchel

I'd love to see what Jardim can do here. His first two seasons Monaco were a very disciplined side, scored few and conceded even less. This season they've been scoring at a ridiculous rate, even Barcelona and Real haven't scored as many and it seems like almost every week they're like 4-0 up in the first 30 minutes.

Would love to have him here and show some of these overrated assholes like Pochettino up

Yeah, think Jardim is a really interesting option too. Have a great record generally in his career, especially in big games.

Its not that I don't want him here, but I don't think Arsenal would even try to get Simeone in. Jardim has that Monaco connection, Allegri seems classy and a pretty safe choice, Tuchel maybe, less sure they'd go for him, Hassenhuttl...would seem crazy so maybe they would, who knows...

Don't really see much in Luis Enrique. Feel like that would be a disaster.
