Shohreh Aghdashloo has been killing it since last season. Avasarala and that guy from Spartacus who plays her personal security guard is like a prime Game of Thrones pairing.

Caught up with Sneaky Pete season 2. It’s an excellent show.

The one aspect I don’t like is the whole Oceans 11 crap. It’s a little cringey to say the least.

The real Pete is amazing though.

Agreed with all points. I liked the first season a little better but its still a very good show with great actors

There's plenty of bad things to say about what Riverdale's become, but having a character on a CW show say "there's nothing more amateur than age-inappropriate casting" was pretty great.

It's on Syfy Channel in the US, and I think they release the episodes on itunes after they've aired.

I suspect Pep is torrenting it though, same as me. Who has the time to wait three months for Netflix to add the new season.

I'm only watching The Killing Sara Lund version now, and it's been and gone on Netflix.
I think I consume TV in a very old school way.

It was 8 months last season, from memory. Total bs considering its a Netflix Original over here so it doesn’t show anywhere else. I can’t for the life of me imagine how it benefits either Netflix or Syfy to delay releasing it here.

I didn’t wait last time but I think I will this time, I’ve got loads of other stuff I can watch in the mean time anyway.

I can’t remember the first season much, some of it wasn’t great from memory. Second season was much more statisfying though.

The biggest issue with the first season of The Expanse is that the story is so convoluted early on. It demands your full attention. It's not the kind of show where you can sit and tab back and forth, like I did, and still be able to follow the story. I liked it a lot more when I rewatched it.

I've just started season two. The drama's holding together a bit better than in the first season, and it's easier to follow because Miller is with the crew of the Rocinante. I really liked season one first time though, but I'm not sure if I've got the staying power for a hell of a lot of television.

I did watch Dear White People last week. Pretty funny and moving show about black kids in the Ivy League that incorporates a lot of woke liberal politics into its narrative.

Even though season one of the expanse was a bit rough, I prefer having characters around who rely on gesture rather than action. It's part performance, part direction, with some blame on the writer. The crew of the Rocinante just suck. Every other character set is more interesting than them for me.

Yeah I'd like to like it but I can't be arsed putting time in to getting past shitty starts to shows any more.
