Second season's actually good. It has a very tense and satisfying final three episodes. It does lack the wonderful character pairing of the first session though.
Quite excited about Mahershala Ali getting cast but it'll be interesting to hear who else is starring, who's directing and get a hint of the season concept.
Don't think it was just they character pairing, the storytelling was an absolute mess.
It was fine relative to most of the trash out there. The first season benefited from a strong opening that allowed its underwhelming payoff to go without strong criticism.
Third season of Fargo really grew on me, episodes 8 and 9 were great. I'm watching in an old school, wait for next week's episode, way - looking forward to the finale.
Why so excited by Mahershala Ali? I've only really taken note of him in The 4400 and as Remy in House of Cards and I have to say I found him quite a bore in both.
I still haven't finished season 2 of True Detective. In fact I think I only watched the first episode.
In Moonlight he's amazing, that's the only thing I've seen him in.
I'd forgotten that he even was in The 4400. He was great in Luke Cage, but as with BW it's Moonlight that has gotten people excited.
True! He was the best thing about Luke Cage, the season fell apart after his character got taken out.

Absolutely.
Series 1 episode 2 of twin peaks..
Just wanted to know if there is anything Supernatural about the show at all and if so, when does it get eerie? I was told it has supernatural elements and that's what drew me to it.
Yes, there's a significant supernatural element, tied to complex elements of the setting, which becomes increasingly important.
It's all key to the third season if you make it that far.
I'm rewatching Hannibal for the first time coming up on the end of the first season and I'm spellbound by the show all over again. Such brilliant television. And the acting is something else. Obviously Mikkelsen is a superstar but Hugh Dancy is outrageously good aswell. With his acting chops combined with his looks it's hard to fathom he's not a bigger star.
I was lukewarm on season 3 when it aired but season 1 and 2 is stellar television and holds up brilliantly so far.
WHY DOES AGENT COOPER EAT SO MUCH WTF. EVERY SCENE HE'S DRINKING AND EATING.
😆

I love seeing Tom Sizemore in big things again.
Yes. Yesterday's ep was  … still the best thing on telly.
The depth of his character made his death all the more poignant. The series fell apart not because of that, but because his replacement was so pathetic.
Yeah, well. The gap from Cottonmouth to Diamondback was enormous anyway.
Now you listen to me. While I will admit to a certain cynicism, the fact is that I am a naysayer and hatchetman in the fight against violence. I pride myself in taking a punch and I'll gladly take another because I choose to live my life in the company of Gandhi and King. My concerns are global. I reject absolutely revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method... is love. I love you Sheriff Truman.
