This is how I ended up in Manchester.
How does House of Cards keep getting nominated for best Drama. And no nomination for Leftovers or Americans in that category. At least Russel and Rhys are nominated.
Carrie Coon did get nominated Quincy, for Fargo.
Not been able to get into the Americans this season. I think I'm about 4 or 5 episodes in and while it's not been bad, it's lacking any real tension or drama.
Think I agree with that, and I'm even a few episodes ahead of you.

Ah, didn't see that. That's only slightly better though, her role in Leftovers was in a different tier imo.
Jodie Whittaker has been announced as the next Doctor Who. I didn't watch the most recent season but I might now. I think she's a wonderful actor, based solely on her work in Broadchurch.

As a big Dr Who fan I'm excited to see how they deal with it. Feels a little lie they have bowed to pressure to do it. There were a lot of calls for a female Doctor last time and instead they went with a female Master. The Doctor's gender, or ethnicity for that matter has never really been relevant so why not? People saying they won't watch it is a bit ridiculous. At least give it a chance.
Never watched a single episode of Dr Who myself. What's all the fuss over some time travelling doctor? S/he does time travel rigbt?
What's all the fuss over some nature documentary? Some drug dealing teacher? Some girl with dragons? You could make a sentence like that about every show.
On a different note, is it just me or is the narrator guy on Love Island kind of annoying?

If you're going to spend your time watching a show like that being annoyed is the least that you deserve.
Yes, I imagine people watching stuff you don't like deserve all sorts of bad things happen to them.
Even in a relatively low key episode like last night's there were a good number of set pieces and gags.
Latest Twin Peaks was actually my favourite of this new season. The closing song was incredible.
watched the first episode of Archer. Lasted 5 minutes.
Season 3 of twin peaks is trippy af, started it earlier this week and I'm up to episode 4 now. Very enjoyable though.
Fargo season 2 is damn near perfect.
Whats twin peaks about?
😆
Even thinking about trying to answer makes me laugh. I guess, a girl was murdered in a small town in the Pacific Northwest of the US. FBI gets...involved...
