I found the first season of Breaking Bad pretty dull. Never got around to watching the rest.
The first and especially the second aren't anything special.
I thought the first season was great, it was much lighter and all the characters much more likable. The dynamic between Hank and Jessi in particular was great, before all the angst. I guess if you're not taken in by the premise it's not going to do anything for you. Season 2 was good too. I actually found 3 and 4 harder to watch (though still engrossing). Jesse became a bore, Walt became unlikable and the side characters were a bit of a chore too.
first half of season 4 was the lowest point for me, but it picked up steam towards the end of that season and didnt let up until the end
I thought all the seasons made for great watching
I loved it in the first season and second seasons. Actually I loved all the seasons but its definitely a different show in seasons 3-5.

Anyone tried the YouTube tv thing? The ad keeps popping up but it's not in my region yet. Outside of live sports, tv seems to be becoming redundant by the day.

It's ridiculous. You'd think with issues surrounding piracy they'd release it asap. They're lucky I've got other things to watch for the time being. Like The Americans which I couldn't be bothered to wait for, not on ITV and certainly not for Amazon.
