A particular government client I work at currently has now twice run a line something like—"This deadline for [speculative project X that hasn't even been started and no one knows why they want it] is not negotiable. The Minister and Commissioner have their jobs on the line."
The entire department's "strategic roadmap" is basically rattling around the consequences of the Minister, who's an arsehole, shooting his mouth off to the press.
