In Dexter they had four amazing seasons. The guy who made the first four seasons left after that and is now coming back for this miniseries. Probably thought they'd butchered his work and will now attempt to give it a proper ending. I'm cautiously positive.

Not sure how far you made it, but while the seasons after 4 are generally very lacklustre I'd argue season 7 was pretty good (at least the way I remember it). On the other hand season 8 is much worse than anything else in the show.

I think I quit early in season 7, don't recall though. Either way it's not that many episdoes.

Started a couple new shows

Orphan Black - ridiculous garbage. How can you pick an actress as the protagonist with such a hilarious "British" accent
Outlander - some lady in 1945 travels 200 years into the past and is forced to start a new life there. Started off as pretty basic and bland medieval drama till it took a seriously disturbing turn at the end of the first season. Like seriously
[spoiler]why the fuck would the main antagonist start raping the male protagonist? and why show it for like 20 fucking minutes?[/spoiler]
Lupin - good fun show. Omar Sy is like a French Idris Elba except he has more variety in his acting

outlander seems to have a storyline like that in most seasons tbh. still a good show despite spinning its wheels at times

Mare of Easttown was pretty good, thought it went a little OTT in pointing fingers every which way, but it was good fun and kept me guessing. Infinitely better than the one with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant.

Watched Hacks on HBO, thought it was good and an easy binge. Jean Smart is great in it.

Lupin is great, just so much fun.

Orphan Black is a fun show too though. Tatiana Maslany is brilliant.

Think it's been mentioned earlier but I binged season 1 of Ted Lasso over the weekend now that we're in full lockdown again. It's schmaltzy and cheesy but I enjoyed it.

Yup, very wholesome. This season 2 is out this month, just as my Apple TV sub ran out.

Binged on Money Heist while in self-isolation. I normally cringe at heist type shows and this one had it's moments, but on the whole it's pretty good, especially parts 1 and 2.

I really liked Ozark. Not sure where season 1 ends and 2 begins though since I binged it. I do remember that I enjoyed 3 a lot though.

It's an interesting watch, bit uneven that it combines good writing and acting with really poor bits here and there. Definitely addicting to watch and season three is probably the best of the three

I've been getting through season 2 slowly too but I keep stopping. I liked season 1 a lot but I've been stuck at season 2 for months now. Every time I sit down to watch an episode I find something else I'd rather watch in the Netflix list. I've heard great things about season 3 though.

Ozark is definitely worth watching, can be a slow burner at times but I'd say you're usually left satisfied.

Also they're ending it in season 4 so you know it won't go on forever and that it won't suddenly be cancelled by Netflix.
