I like the show better than the movie. The movie is all action, the show has time to really get into characters in each section of the train. Season one was is similar enough to the movie plot wise but season 2 goes off on a completely different tangent.

I felt the same way just reading about the concept, but in practice it's the same sort of thing as any post apoplectic show like The Walking Dead or The 100, but just a different setting and themes.

Though if those two shows are anything to go by the fun won't last.

Jesus, I did not expect that at all. The Enter the Dragon episode near the end of the second season is some of the coolest TV I've seen in a long time.

Agree with both, though I do think it's always had this side to it. It just feels a little more pronounced this season, especially on the back of episode 4.

Watched the first episode of Mare of Easttown with Kate Winslet. Looks very good so far. I like Kate Winslet, and there is an Aussie flavour with Guy Pearce and Angourie Rice.

The first episode put me off it, though friends say it gets very good and the character arcs are satisfying. I couldn't stop laughing at the Philly accent, though.

Been watching Hausen recently. What a shit show. I'm on episode 5 and have no idea what they're trying to do. Just watching it cuz I've already invested a few hours watching the show and am a bit OCD in that I have to finish what I start. But my word it is such a slog watching it.

Catching up late with the first season of THE TERROR.

I'm really enjoying it, superb cast and I can only dimly recall the novel which I read a decade ago when I was literally in Antarctica, and liked quite a bit at the time.

Jared Harris is one of those actors who's infinitely watchable. With him playing Hari Seldon, the FOUNDATION television show might actually be great.

[font=Arial]i'm finally trudging through the last few seasons of vikings. i basically checked out after [spoiler]ragnar died[/spoiler], but now there's a sequel series coming out later this year about the end of the viking age in england, with characters like harald hardrada, cnut the great, william the conquerer and leif eriksson, [/font], so i'll finish off the original series before getting into that

I checked out at the same point, apparently it go better again but I couldn't bring myself to watch.

In my opinion it did not get better again. Thinking back it even starting going downhill before that.

I was determined to get through to the end of TWD too but I eventually caved.
