Never really been into the horror/thriller genre, but I’m quite enjoying the haunting of bly manor. It’s good stuff.

Did you watch The Haunting of Hill House? Same creator, many of the samme actors and actress, also great. Bly Manor is kind of a sequel, anthology wise.

Bly Manor has been perfectly splendid so far.

Bly manor has far less scares than hill house. Its more mystery/suspense

I just finished watching Hill House with my family. Expected it to be trash, but was surprisingly quite good. The last two episodes plodded a bit though.

it's ace. Haven't seen a good horror series since, but have yet to watch Bly Manor.

Just watched Staged - fun Covid premise where David Tennant and Michael Sheen play themselves as actors trying to rehearse a play on Zoom with their director. They never actually rehearse. A few other well known actors make appearances. It's gentle and fun, with a few laughs along the way.

It was scripted by Simon Evans the director, who plays himself - actually everyone plays themselves, including Georgia Tennant and Anna Lundberg and Simon's sister Lucy.

Good fun.

Season finale of THE BOYS was a tad abrupt, felt like it was just getting going.

Lovecraft country was a bit underwhelming, with a few high spots here and there. By the end, it basically felt like charmed with black folks

Has anyone seen the first few episodes of The Good Lord Bird? Watched the trailer and thought it seemed promising.

Re: Lovecraft Country, read the book instead. It was widely superior to the show.

Still check it out, there are some fantastic moments. Its just very uneven at times

The West Wing cast got together again and recreated the episode Hartsfield Landing to support the When We All Vote organisation which is set up to encourage voter registration.

It's fun watching the cast members reprise roles filmed 20 years ago, and performing it on an actual stage.

Martin Sheen is such a legend.

Not sure on links to watch it - my wife found something on Vimeo.

Season 5 of billions good or bad? Critics like it, audience doesn’t. Don’t know which to trust. I do remember thinking at the end of S4 that it can only go downhill from here.

It was odd wasn’t it? Almost like they just decided they wanted to hit reset.

Hope we don’t spend 6 episodes in S3 working up to giving The Boys a reason to get back together.

Awful. There's an episode centred around a 'limitless' pill. Feels like the show is running on fumes
