*All this fragmentation of streaming is going to push me back to piracy 😆
Maybe you're right Claud, I feel like Disney is well place given that their back catalogue is vast, they own an impressive array of studios and also ESPN/Hulu. Plus they have theme parks and hotels to push merchandise down every 5 year old child. Similarly Amazon Prime have similar scale to delve into over the next decade.
But I don't see it with, say, Netflix. By their own admission they claim that their biggest competitors aren't other studios and instead it's anything else we spend our spare time doing e.g. a PS4 or football. Sounds good on paper but I don't consciously feel like that's the trade off I'm making when I decide what to watch.
