I've just started season 2 of the Good Place. Really enjoyed season 1. Light and fun.

Bodyguard was pretty good. Seriously didn't realize that it was Robb Stark in the main role until episode 3. His acting has either come a long way, or he just didn't have the opportunity to show his talent in Game of Thrones.

The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is decent as well, but I don't quite get the praise I've seen of it. Also, for some reason they insist on using some kind of blur in the edges of the screen in almost every scene, and it just looks gimmicky.

Halfway through The Haunting of Hill House and it’s been decent so far. Not sure if it’s been talked about on here but I’d definitely recommend it.

How is it on the jump scares front? If there are many, it's a no-go for me. I can do creepy tension, but no way in hell will I sit watching TV for hours while wondering when's the next time I'll be frightened.

It’s more tense than scary. There are probably only 1 or 2 times an episode that there’s a legitimate scare, maybe more in the earlier episodes, but I’m six in now and the last couple have been pretty tame. I’m probably underselling it though. All i was told about it is how frightening it is, so I went into expecting to be loaded with with them.

Generally they just try get ya with the atmosphere.

The story is good enough to carry it without there being jumps. Typical haunted house shenanigans but it’s handled really well.

The season 13 finale of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia was beautiful and touching, which is something I never thought I'd say about an episode of this show. The season has been pretty hit and miss, but I love that they've gone on so long that they feel they can do bold things like this. Apparently McElhenney trained for months to do what he did during those last seven minutes.

I thought it was just self indulgent and McElhenny showing off.

Seasons been very spotty indeed. Some funny stuff but a lot of duds.

I've noticed that it's very polarizing, and it seems we're on different ends on this one. My favorite epissodes where the me too episode and, surprisingly, the clip show one. Mostly because I was so dissapointed that IASIP were doing a clip show, and then it subverted my expectations.

Yeah I loved those 2 episodes too. I though the Gang beats Wade Boggs: Ladies reboot was a mess. The Charlie superbowl one was good, the other one wasn't.

My favourite of the season was The Gang Gets New Wheels. Probably should’ve been the final ep of the season. Them finishing it with the group dancing around in the jeep would’ve been nice. I haven’t seen this weeks one though so I can’t speak to how it really ended.

I enjoyed Times Up for the Gang, The Gang Escapes and the clip show ep. Pretty up and down season. If they’re not all going to be back for the next season I’d prefer they called it off to be honest. Most of the Dennisless episodes were pretty shit.

I’ve been rewatching Prison Break with the Mrs who’s not seen it. S1 is as great as I remember it being, but my god, how did I not notice how bad the guy who plays Lincon is at acting? 😆

It’s hilariously bad. I can’t contain myself when he speaks.

We just binged Bodyguard as well. I really enjoyed it. Perhaps some parts of the denouement fell into place a bit too easily, and a couple of plot holes, but there always are in these things. There was plenty of tension and drama the whole way through. Keeley Hawes was excellent as usual, and yes, Richard Madden in the main role was excellent.

Half way through. It's not bad considering there's not much else good anyways. Worth a watch. (Need hbo sub for deuces). Diego luna and Michael Pena don't look their parts and rest of the cast looks out of place too. A bit undercooked overall. But again, full on production with large scale story so. ..
Need to take a break from tv to recoup and read some books maybe.

After watching Bodyguard (really enjoyed it until the finale) I went back and started watching Line of Duty. Have to say, took me some time to get into but really liking it.
